Although there were several sobriety checkpoints set up across the state, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said operating a vehicle while intoxicated arrest decreased over the Thanksgiving weekend.

There were 362 arrests last year but only 304 this year.

However, crashes and felony arrests increased.

Troopers arrested 20 people on felony charges. Seventeen people were arrested last year.

Crash figures rose from 469 crashes in 2008 to 590 this year.
