Feds Charge Former Doctor After Bomb Explodes In Home

Federal authorities have charged a former doctor accused of setting off a homemade bomb.

NewsChannel5 news partners at the Akron Beacon Journal reported that 56-year-old Mark Campano was charged with unlawful possession of an explosive device.

Cuyahoga Falls police searched Campano's Center Avenue apartment on Monday after a bomb exploded there.

Crews took Campano to the hospital for a serious hand injury.

Police said they found more than 30 bombs in the apartment.
