UPDATED: 6:52 pm EST November 19, 2009

A woman accused of drowning two rabbits at an Akron pet store pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of animal cruelty.

Photos showing Liz Carlisle holding up what appeared to be two dead rabbits sparked outrage earlier this year.

Carlisle's 90-day jail sentence was suspended but she must serve six months of probation and perform 120 hours of community service.

Carlisle might also need to undergo counseling.
