Teen Goes Missing After Leaving Work

Girl Turned 17 Friday

UPDATED: 5:22 p.m. EDT April 27, 2003

There's still no sign of a local teenager who never returned home from work Monday night.

Berry

NewsChannel5 reported that Amanda Berry turned 17 Friday.

Her family said she was beaming with excitement about the birthday, waiting for a party in her honor this weekend.

They said Berry headed home from work at the Burger King on Lorain Avenue and West 110th Street at about 8 p.m. Monday. She lives on West 111th Street, just a few blocks away.

Cleveland police said that so far, they have no idea what may have happened to her.

Officials are asking anyone with information to call (216) 623-5118.
