2-Month-Old Killed In I-90 Car Fire

A 2-month-old baby was killed and two others injured in a car fire on Interstate 90 Monday afternoon.

The accident occurred on I-90 east near West 65th Street around 4 p.m.

Police said a vehicle was stopped in the roadway when it was struck from behind. The vehicle that was stopped burst into flames.

Police said he driver that struck the stopped vehicle pulled the driver of the struck vehicle from the wreckage but was unable to get the child from the car.

The child was badly burned and died on scene. The man that tried to pull the baby from the car suffered burns to his hands, arms and head.
