CLEVELAND -- Police are searching for answers after a 22-year-old man was shot on the east side.

The shooting happened Sunday night on Caine Avenue near East 137th Street.

Investigators said two men confronted 22-year-old Donald "Staxx" Williams Jr. in his driveway and then shot him.

Williams was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center and died less than an hour later.

His mother described him as a talented rapper and a good kid who graduated from high school and was looking for a job.

Now she's making an emotional plea.

"I really don't know who did this. But all I ask is anyone who knows about what happened, please come forth," said Deshawn Evans.

Police haven't made any arrests. Anyone with information about the shooting should call Cleveland police.
