BRIMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Investigators said patients at a northwest Ohio medical lab became the unsuspecting victims in a child pornography case, and now a local health care technician is facing charges. The case unfolded following a traffic stop Sunday night in Brimfield Township in Portage County.Police said they have no idea how many victims there are but detectives believe many children and adults were violated by a man who set up hidden cameras in several locations.Police said 42-year-old Jaime Aguirre used a camcorder and wireless camera to spy on people and collected a large amount of pornography. Investigators said many of the naked images were clearly of children.Police said Aguirre was pulled over for a lane violation while getting onto Interstate 76. He was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana. But police said they also found in his truck knives, handcuffs, a police scanner and memory cards filled with hundreds of pornographic images.Detectives said Aguirre worked as an ultrasound technician at Advanced Medical Imaging in Tiffin and hid a tiny camera to victimize people."To set up a covert camera and record patients while they're undressing and while they're undergoing procedures is something, I might have seen it all now," said Detective David Blough."Some of these patients were under sedation when this occurred. We have no reason to believe that any of them had any idea this was happening," said Detective Lisa Blough.Police said some of the young victims were children of women Aguirre dated. Officers searched his home near Willard in Huron County and police will review more than 300 DVDs and several VHS tapes.Police said Aguirre also videotaped people in store parking lots, recording images to a DVD player.Police said that after his arrest, Aguirre said he did some things that maybe weren't right but said that he never hurt anyone.Aguirre is in the Portage County Jail on a $250,000 bond. He's facing four felony charges.
