It was the hottest party in town ... literally.

Ted Batchelor is the current Guinness World Record holder for longest full body burn without supplied oxygen.

On Saturday night, at Plzak Farm in South Russell, he and 16 others set themselves on fire to earn a new record: Largest group of people to participate in a full body burn for more than 30 seconds.

Officials from the Guinness Book of World Records were on hand to sanction and record the event.

Batchelor is known for other daredevil stunts. He has previously completed a full body burn dive off of the Chagrin Falls.
