CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio -- Precious Resources is an eco-friendly preschool located in Chagrin Falls.

It has plenty of the items a traditional preschool has, like puzzles, trucks and books but all the items are very specific.

For example the table and chairs are made from sustainable products, the puppets will deliver a message about recycling to the boys and girls, there's yoga DVDs for the kids and the trucks have recycling symbols on them. The toy gas station is for electric cars and there are solar panels and wind turbines on the toys so the kids will learn about solar energy.

Recycling, reducing and reusing are weaved into the daily curriculum as well as lessons in conservation, preservation, saving our rainforests and protecting endangered species. Composting and organic gardening are part of the program and students will be able to utilize the herbs and vegetables grown in the gardens.

The crayons are soy based crayons, they use recycled paper and pencils and even they supply eco-friendly paints and play dough. The paint on the walls is no VOC and the cleaning supplies are organic.
