Police: Man Steals Art, Claims To Be Creator

A man who claimed to be an artist is in jail for stealing art.

Police arrested Richard Owens for stealing three pieces of art worth $12,000.

Police said Owens stole the art from a Woodmere Art Gallery and tried to sell the art to a Chicago dealer.

Owens even appeared on WEWS’s Kaleidoscope. The second airing featuring Owens has been canceled.
