1 Killed, 4 Injured In Hail Of Gunfire Outside Home

AKRON, Ohio -- A massive manhunt is under way in Akron after five people were shot outside of a home, one of them fatally.The incident happened late Monday night on Fuller Street.Police said a motive is not clear but that it's possible the drive-by shootings were gang or drug-related.Bullet holes pierced the siding of a house and streaks of blood are still in the middle of the street. Donald Baker, 48, died in the hail of gunfire.Four others were hurt: Antwoine Sheffield, James Bethune, Randolph Mosley and Delrico Thomas.Police said the men were standing outside of a house when they were hit by multiple shots fired from an SUV.Detectives have interviewed possible witnesses but no arrests have been made.Sheffield was shot in the head and is in critical condition at Akron City Hospital. Police said the injuries suffered by the other surviving victims do not appear to be life-threatening.
