Power Restored After Thousands Left In Dark

About 20,000 residents were without power Tuesday after lightning struck a transformer.

The power outage is affected suburbs along Interstate 271, iincludes Richmond Heights and the eastern portion of Willoughby Hills.

FirstEnergy officials worked throughout the afternoon on the problem and said that power has now been restored to its customers.
