RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- A water main break at the intersection of Highland Road and Trebisky Road in Richmond Heights caused low pressure or no water to residents in the surrounding area.

Residents in Richmond Heights, University Heights, Highland Heights, South Euclid and Lyndhurst reported having little to no water pressure since about 10 p.m. Tuesday.

The Cleveland Division of Water has issued a boil alert for the following areas:

• Richmond Heights – South of Chardon
• Highland Heights – Entire City
• Mayfield – Entire City
• Mayfield Heights – North of Ridgebury
• Lyndhurst – West of Brainard/Iroquois
• South Euclid – Entire City

Police ask motorists to avoid the intersection of Highland Road and Trebisky Road until they are able to fix the water main.
