AKRON, Ohio -- Police are looking for two masked burglars who broke into an Akron home where a 17-year-old girl was home alone.

The girl woke up around 2 a.m. Friday to a loud crash from the attached garage of the Elbon Avenue home.

Police said she went downstairs and was confronted by the two robbers, who demanded money.

The girl told the assailants where the money was and one of them took two flat-screen TVs from the home.

The robbers threw a blanket over the girl's head and fled. The girl ran to a neighbor's home and called her mother.

Anyone with information is asked to call Akron police.
