Cuyahoga County owes money to several suburbs.

The Plain Dealer reported that Cuyahoga County has more than a million dollars to dole out to suburbs to demolish blighted houses.

Seven suburbs have already signed up to knock down 42 homes.

Warrensville Heights is waiting for approval to get rid of a dozen homes, and Garfield Heights expects to take a house down early next week.

The money comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
