County Owes Suburbs Money For Demolishing Homes

CLEVELAND -- Cuyahoga County owes money to several suburbs.The Plain Dealer reported that Cuyahoga County has more than a million dollars to dole out to suburbs to demolish blighted houses.Seven suburbs have already signed up to knock down 42 homes.Warrensville Heights is waiting for approval to get rid of a dozen homes, and Garfield Heights expects to take a house down early next week.The money comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
