Residents Could Be Without Water For Up To 24 Hours

Water Main Breaks On Wheatley Road

About 125 homes in Richfield will be without water for up to 24 hours as a water main break is repaired on Wheatley Road, according to Richfield Police Department.

A water main break on Wheatley Road near Interstate 77 happened at about 3 p.m. Saturday. The break affected all of the homes in the Glencairn Forest and The Woods allotments, along with homes on Wheatley and Revere roads.

The Cleveland Water Company is currently on the working to repair the break. Residents in the affected area should expect little or no water pressure for the next 10 to 24 hours, police said.
