SOLON, Ohio -- A Reminderville man stumbled into the Solon Police Department lobby Wednesday evening after being shot in the abdomen, police said.

Joseph J. Maresh, 31, was the victim of a shooting in the parking lot of Enterprise Parkway, located behind the buildings at 6200 Enterprise Parkway.

Police said Maresh was immediately given first aid and transferred by the fire department to the Solon Medical Campus. From there, he was flown by helicopter to MetroHealth Medical Center.

Maresh underwent surgery and is recovering.
