A man shot in the head during a double shooting in downtown Cleveland is continuing to improve.

Jory Aebly's condition has been upgraded to good, officials at MetroHealth Medical Center said.

The 26-year-old was shot two weeks ago in what police called an execution-style attack near Scorchers on East 12th Street and Chester Avenue.

His co-worker, 28-year-old Jeremy Pechanec, was killed in the shooting.

Doctors later described Aebly's recovery from the trauma as "amazing."

Police have charged three adults and a juvenile in connection with the shootings.
