The Successful Aging Initiative is a three-year, $4 million campaign that
includes public awareness, civic engagement, senior employment and the
development of elder-friendly communities and lifelong learning centers.
The Successful Aging Initiative will provide opportunities and resources to
assist Cleveland's seniors in remaining active in the community through
volunteering and civic involvement.
In addition, the campaign hopes to
heighten awareness and more positive attitudes about the needs of the
elderly in our community, as well as the viable contributions and life
wisdom they can offer.
