BAY VILLAGE, Ohio -- An 18-year-old woman was abducted Saturday while leaving her job at the Regal Theater in the Promenade shopping center.

Police said the woman was cleaning snow from her car in the parking lot when she was approached by a man who forced her into her car.

The man drove the woman to the Wyndgate condo complex where he sexually assaulted her, police said. He also robbed her of $2, police said. Officials said the man had a handgun.

The man is described as a black male between 5 feet 10 and 6 feet tall with an average build and short dark hair. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, tan pants and a black knit cap.

The woman's car was impounded so that it could be processed.

Police also want to talk to a man who was in a silver SUV who pulled into the woman's parking space just before she was approached by the suspect.

Police believe the man saw the attacker and can provide more information.
