CLEVELAND -- By the end of the month, it will become known if the YMCA will close three facilities in northeast Ohio, according to NewsChannel5.
Hundreds of people are upset about the possible closing of the 160-acre Centerville Mills Camp in Chagrin Falls.
"This camp is 100 years old," said Dave Golias, whose son and daughter use the camp. "It has withstood the Great Depression. It's withstood World War II, and it can withstand a cash crunch."
The YMCA board's next meeting is set for the end of the month.
Still no word if a decision will be made at that time.
Meanwhile, residents are hoping the board will solicit corporate donations to help with the budget 's shortfall.
Officials said corporate donations saved a similar camp in the Youngstown area.
