Cedar Point Tops Off New Ride For Next Season
Tower Extends 400 Feet

SANDUSKY, Ohio -- Cedar Point's newest attraction was topped off Friday.
According to Virturalmidway.com, this will be the world's tallest roller coaster. Extending over 400 feet into the air, the tower dominates the Cedar Point skyline and is visible for miles.
On top of the highest piece
of track is a Christmas tree, a United States flag, and a Canadian flag.
Information on the new thrill ride has not been released by the amusement park. But construction reveals it will be coaster No. 16.
The coaster is being built on the Gemini Midway, near the Magnum.
The new ride is expected to open in May.
