A teenager was killed after losing control of her car in snowy conditions in Stark County.

Jackson Township police said Kelli Halterman, 18, of Perry Township, died at about 3 p.m. Monday.

Officers said her car slid into the path of an oncoming truck at Perry Drive NW and Brunnerdale Avenue.

Visibility at the time of the crash was reportedly low due to whiteout conditions.

Halterman was a senior at Perry High School and was studying to be a nurse.
