CLEVELAND -- A shot was fired inside a CVS store Wednesday morning.

Cleveland police said the shot was fired at 10:24 a.m. during an attempted robbery at the store on Harvard Avenue.

Officers said a white man with a mask approached the pharmacy with a gun. The man fired one round into the wall and then pointed the weapon at the pharmacist and demanded oxycotin pills.

The pharmacist handed over the medication they had in stock and the man fled on foot. No arrests have been made.

No one was injured in the shooting.

Officers are looking for the suspected robber.
