CLEVELAND -- The younger sister of U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich died Tuesday at Cleveland's Veteran's Hospital.

Beth Ann Kucinich, 48, who served in the U.S. Army, died on Veterans Day after a battle with acute respiratory distress syndrome.

Beth Ann Kucinich was also a musician and artist, and sold many of her works to fellow veterans at the Brecksville Veterans Center.

Another Kucinich sibling, Perry, died last December. Dennis Kucinich said his sister never got over Perry's death.

The Kucinich family will receive visitors Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Golubski Funeral Home, on Fullerton Avenue in Cleveland.

The funeral will be held Thursday morning followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
