Local Hunter Found Dead In Tangled Harness

ROOTSTOWN, Ohio -- Portage County authorities are investigating after a Randolph Township hunter was found dead.

Michael Heigelmann, 48, was reported missing by his wife Friday night.

Crews searched for him in the woods where he planned to hunt. They found him hanging from a tree post tangled in his harness just after midnight.

Police believe his death was an accident.
