AVON, Ohio -- Police arrested a 22-year-old man in Avon on Monday, accusing him of arranging to meet someone he believed to be a 15-year-old girl for sex.

Cory Jackson, of Dayton, is charged with importuning, attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and possession of criminal tools.

Police said he solicited sex from an undercover officer and then traveled to Avon to meet up with the girl he thought he was communicating with online.

Jackson was arrested without incident. He is being held at the Lorain County Jail on $30,000 bond.
