Man Involved In Standoff With Police Charged With Robbery

CLEVELAND -- The son of a Cleveland legend is in jail.

Police said Robert Yankovic held a standoff Thursday night that lasted several hours at West 104th Street and Clifton Avenue.

He is a suspect in a robbery at the Shell station on West 117th Street in Lakewood.

Cleveland City Councilman Jay Westbrook said the suspect is the son of the late Cleveland polka star Frankie Yankovic.
