CLEVELAND -- The latest research shows that lycopene, a substance found in tomatoes, may play a role in fighting prostate cancer, NewsChannel5's Health Reporter Alicia Booth reported.
Cooked tomato products, such as tomato sauce, are particularly healthful.
Cooking tomatoes helps break down tomato cell walls and releases the lycopene, making it easier for the body to absorb.
