Van Plows Into Local Restaurant

CLEVELAND -- A van drove into a restaurant on Cleveland's east side early Thursday morning, police said.The crash occurred around 2:11 a.m. at East 125th Street and St. Clair Avenue.Police said the 35-year-old driver lost control of his GMC Safari while driving on St. Clair and plowed into the front of the Open Kitchen Restaurant.The driver was taken to Huron Hospital. The extent of the driver's injuries is not known.The building sustained structural damage.
