    Joshua Miktarian Killed During July Traffic Stop

    AKRON, Ohio -- The man suspected of fatally shooting a Twinsburg police officer faced a judge Wednesday for a pretrial hearing.

    Ashford Thompson now has a new attorney and opening arguments were scheduled to begin on Oct. 14.

    Thompson is charged with killing Joshua Miktarian during a traffic stop last month.

    Miktarian's widow, Holly, was in court for the hearing as well.
