LAKE COUNTY, Ohio -- A jury on Tuesday convicted a Euclid woman of leaving her two children in a running car while going into a bar to drink.Kimberly M. Cartulla, 42, was found guilty on two counts of endangering children and faces up to 18 months in prison.Prosecutors said last November, Cartulla went into Manny's Bar in Eastlake and drank to the point of unconsciousness.She parked her car in front of the bar, leaving her 9-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter in the vehicle with the engine running, the heat off and the doors unlocked.Prosecutors said Cartulla was carried out of the bar several hours later, at which point the bar's owner and a bartender discovered the children in the car.Cartulla has two prior endangering children convictions from 2003 and 2004.She will be sentenced on Aug. 21.
