ALBANY, Ind. -- An Indiana woman says she's had it with the housework until her husband starts helping her out.
Kathy Thompson (pictured,
left) says she's on strike and has posted signs in her yard saying, "Wife on strike."
Thompson of Albany says her husband, Gary, is a nice guy, but she's overwhelmed. She says she does all the housework and goes to school -- all while her husband goes fishing.
The strike is having some effect. Thompson says her husband is doing the dishes occasionally now, which is progress.
All she says she wants is a "thank you" from her husband for all her hard work.
