CANTON, Ohio -- Canton police are investigating a homicide that took place overnight Wednesday.The homicide occurred on Spring Avenue Northeast. The victim is 76-year-old Earl Schoeneman, a retired Sgt with the Canton Police Department.The Stark County coroner's office said it received the body of a male and an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.Officials continue to investigate the death as a homicide.There are no suspects and no arrests.No other information is available at this time.
