KENT, Ohio -- A hazmat crew was called to the scene of a chlorine gas leak near Kent Wednesday morning.

The leak occurred at the Kent water treatment plant on Hodgeman Lane in Franklin Township.

Fire officials said the concentration of gas was low and had been primarily contained within the building.

Hazmat will stay at the scene in order to isolate the leak and provide necessary clean-up.
