LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio -- A Brook Park man is in jail, arrested on a drunken driving charge for the 10th time.Police said that this time, James Lennox's blood-alcohol contest was three times the legal limit.North Ridgeville police said that on Saturday, they received a report of a man swerving on the Turnpike.Troopers said that when the 44-year-old Lennox was pulled over, it was obvious that he was drunk.Lennox told troopers he drank more than 12 Miller High Life beers. The state patrol said Lennox has been arrested 10 times in 21 years for drunk driving, including arrests in Lakewood, Cleveland, Berea and Lorain County. In Ohio, it is a felony to have five drunken driving convictions in 20 years or three in six years.Still, Lennox has avoided prison time on his felony arrest charges; instead, he went in and out of local jails and treatment program.Lennox will return to Elyria Municipal Court on Friday for a hearing. If there is enough evidence, the case will go before a grand jury.If Lennox is convicted for felony drunken driving, he could get up to five years in prison.
