CLEVELAND -- Police are searching for a man who posed as a valet and tricked a woman into handing over her car at a local hospital. Ramona Mesi told NewsChannel5 that she took her husband to University Hospitals on Friday because of heart problems. During a weekend visit, she handed over her keys to a man she thought was a valet. Police said that man stole her car. Officers recovered the Scion Sunday night. Mesi said she was worried for her husband's health when she met the impostor. "The fact that I was so gullible and gave my keys up to someone I didn't realize I trusted him. I thought he was with the hospital," said Mesi. The hospital said they have launched a complete investigation to make sure this doesn't happen again. Police have surveillance video of the possible suspect, but they need Mesi to identify him before they release it.
