Homeless Man Indicted In Lorain Co. Park Attack

LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio -- A homeless man accused of attacking a woman at a Lorain County park was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday.Matthew Plas was charges with several counts, including kidnapping, attempted murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and attempted rape.Authorities said Plas abducted a 43-year-old woman from Carlisle Reservation, attempted to rape her and shot her in the back.He then put her in the trunk of his car and she was spotted by passersby, who contacted police.
