Badges Of Fallen Officers Added To Justice Center Display

CLEVELAND -- Two local police officers who died in the line of duty were honored on Thursday.The badges of Euclid Patrolman George Brentar and Cleveland Heights Officer Jason West were put into a display at the Justice Center.West was shot and killed last May and Brentar died when his cruiser crashed last October.Their families were honored by local police and Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson."I do want you to know, as the city of Cleveland, we deeply appreciate the sacrifice, and we share in your loss and sorrow," said Jackson.Last week, the names of West and Brentar were added to a police memorial wall in downtown Cleveland.
