Read his blog here: 2:07 p.m.Regina Hough, wife of Terrance Hough, testified she did not like having guns in the house, but the agreement was that all of the guns except two of them were locked up in a safe.Regina says two guns were always loaded. One of them was kept in the kitchen. The other gun was kept in their bedroom.Regina says when they first moved in, they liked the neighborhood and Jacob Feichtner was the first person to come over and introduce himself.Regina testified the Feichtners often had parties on their driveway that were loud and obnoxious.Regina says she complained to the Feichtner family several times. Regina said she called the police at least 12 times.Regina said her son often woke up because of the parties and her son thought there were monsters outside of the house waking him up.One night, Regina said she took her son over to the Feichtner home to explain that the noise woke up her son.On the night of July 4th, Regina said she was in the basement and heard very loud fireworks next door. She said it was getting close to midnight.Regina said she heard Terry leave the house and then she heard gunshots, crying and screaming.Regina said Terry came down the basement and said, "I'm sorry Reg, I snapped."Regina said, "Terry, this isn't a joke."Regina testified she couldn't believe Terry could hurt anyone. She walked outside, saw the bodies and that's when she realized it was true.Regina said she walked back inside the house and saw Terry sitting at the kitchen table. She asked him, "Why would you do this?" Regina said Terry repeated, "I snapped."Regina said Terry then went downstairs to give his kids a kiss goodbye and said that he was going to miss them.1:38 p.m.Regina Hough, the wife of defendant Terrance Hough, took the stand around 1:30 this afternoon. She says she married Terrance in 2000.They have two kids, ages 6 aned 4.11:30 a.m.After the prosecution rested, the defense asked the judge to dismiss the charge of aggravated murder. The defense argued that the prosecution did not prove "prior calculation and design."The defense said that Hough did not plan the murders and his attorney called the shootings "an instantaneous eruption of events."The prosecutor said the witnesses and evidence that were presented over several days showed that Hough had a plan to commit the killings.Judge Shirley Strickland Saffold ruled in favor of the prosecutors, so the jury will be able to consider the aggravated murder charge. We're waiting to find out who will be the first witness for the defense.11:15 a.m.The prosecution rested its case shortly after 11 a.m.11:01 a.m.Terrance Hough's wife, Regina, is expected to testify today. That could happen later Tuesday morning or in the afternoon.Regina was home with the couple's two children when the shootings happened.Other witnesses have testified that Regina said to Terrance, "What did you do?" after the shootings.10:56 a.m.Dr. William Seitz Jr. from the Cleveland Clinic is testifying right now. He's an orthopedic surgeon. He treated Donny Walsh, one of the shooting survivors. Seitz did surgery on Walsh's elbow last October.Since part of Donny's elbow was disintegrated from the shooting, the doctor used an elbow bone from a donor during the surgery.10:20 a.m.The trial should be resuming shortly. The prosecution may call one more witness, a police officer, and then rest its case. After that, the defense willl start calling witnesses on Terrance Hough's behalf.
