MEDINA, Ohio -- Medina police are investigating a fire at a senior center Thursday night.

The fire started at midnight at the Nottingham Court Senior Complex. Authorities said six apartments were destroyed, but only minor injuries were reported.

A laundry room was also damaged by the flames.

Five people were treated for smoke inhalation, but all have since been released.

Displaced residents said they will stay with friends and family until they can sort out their living arrangements.

The cause isn't known.
