AKRON, Ohio -- Akron police said they are dealing with a series of violent robberies in the area.

A man is in critical condition after being stabbed in a home on Manchester Road. Police are still looking for the person responsible.

Police also said that two men robbed a Wendy's restaurant on Mogadore Road at gunpoint Friday night.

And three people robbed and kidnapped a homeowner on Frederick Boulevard. The victim is expected to be OK.
