SHEFFIELD LAKE, Ohio -- The Sheffield Lake City Council on Thursday voted against letting a woman keep 90 cats in her home.City law allows people to have four cats. Victoria Wilson said she is devastated by the vote. Now she's trying to find somewhere else to live because she refuses to give away the cats. She considers them all her children."My cats don't hurt anybody and they make me happy," Wilson said. "I take as good of care of them as I do my children. I can't just toss them out. If I put them in a shelter they'll kill them."Wilson has 20 days to get rid of the cats. Otherwise, she faces a $150 fine each day she's in violation of the law.
