UPDATED: 6:58 pm EDT April 29, 2008

Cleveland police said an Ohio Department of Transportation worker rescued a toddler who had climbed a fence and ended up on Interstate 90.

Police said the boy climbed a fence in a back yard and went onto the berm of I-90 near West 73rd Street. Police said the boy, 4-year-old Mark Taylor, was looking for his dog that had gotten loose.

The worker, Robert Coulter, spotted the boy and pulled him out of harm's way.

Police said while they were at the scene a man came into the back yard and said he was the boy's uncle.

Police said no charges will be filed.

Mark is now home, safe and sound, with his mother, twin brother and his dog.
