According to a Lonz Winery officials, 11 cases are awaiting resolution in Erie County, six lawsuits in Ottawa County, and two in Cuyahoga County.
Sixty-nine other claims against Paramount Distillers have been settled.
With the agreement, the victims agee to withdraw any claims of punitive damages and to dismiss any remaining lawsuits. In addition, the winery has agreed not to contest its liability for compensatory damages to the victims of the accident.
Lawsuits still pending are now directed at a Paramount subsidiary instead of the parent company, officials said.
Attorneys working on the case said the agreement comes after months of negotiating.
