UPDATED: 7:29 am EDT April 21, 2008

A Wickliffe man accused of rape is in custody on $100,000 bond.

Prosecutors charged 38-year-old Samuel Robinson on Friday with rape, aggravated robbery, kidnapping and aggravated burglary.

They said he used a gun on March 22 to rob a Cleveland woman before raping her.

Police said Robinson forced his way into the woman's car when she stopped at a traffic light at East 105th Street and Superior Avenue and made her drive home, where he raped and robbed her.

Officials said he was arrested while trying to move the stolen items.

Robinson pleaded not guilty to the charges.

He must submit to an AIDS test, and will be in court on Tuesday.
