Police: Teen Uses Knife To Rob Video Store

An Akron teenager was arrested after allegedly trying use a knife to rob a video store.

Police said Jessie A. Bailey, 19, was charged with aggravated robbery and drug paraphernalia.

Bailey entered the Video Time on East Avenue just before 7 p.m. Monday demanding money, officers said.

Employees said Bailey went behind the counter and held the knife toward the employees. They said he took the money and ran from the business.

He was arrested shortly afterward at his home, and police said he admitted to the theft.

He is being held in the Summit County Jail.
