CLEVELAND -- Three people accused of trying to profit from the foreclosure crisis faced a judge Wednesday morning. Clarissa Foster, her mother Bettie Simpson and Corritha Wells face charges in connection with their alleged roles in a mortgage scam involving 38 homes in Cuyahoga County. Foster was president of a title company and one of six people arrested in a mortgage fraud raid last year.
