AKRON, Ohio -- Police have arrested a man they say is responsible for stabbing his neighbors Monday night.

Emil Varhola, 81, was stabbed to death and his 77-year-old wife, Mary was hospitalized.

She was also found in her Kenmore Boulevard home with several stab wounds.

She is listed in stable condition.

Police said Hersie Robert Wesson, 50, a neighbor, got into an altercation with the Varholas.

He is being held in the Summit County Jail.
