Police: Man Leaves Hospital, Beats Up Girlfriend

CLEVELAND -- The search continues for a Cleveland man accused of beating up his girlfriend before and after police arrested him. Police said 52-year-old Michael Goodwin and his girlfriend got into a fight. They said he held her against her will for 15 minutes before surrendering to police. At the jail, Goodwin showed signs of a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. Police said he left the emergency room and ended up tracking down his girlfriend and beating her up again. He fled the scene before police arrived.
